The relaxing environment is powered by local music playing throughout the city, delicious food stalls historically-incredible architecture. While on your way to Granada you can also stop by the Masaya Volcano National Park.

Another one of the fascinating countries best tourist attractions is the San Juan del Sur bay, followed by the Corn Islands. The San Juan del Sur bay is a small fisherman village that lies on the edge of the horseshoe-shaped body of water. Being undeveloped compared to other locations, it’s great for getting in touch with nature and having a peaceful time. Going hand in hand with serenity and undeveloped locations, the Corn Islands that sit on the Caribbean are perfect for scuba diving and beach relaxation.

If you enjoy wildlife sightseeing, taking a trip down the Rio San Juan will expose you to hundreds of exotic animals, with over 600 bird species and 200 mammals, some only found in Nicaragua. The river flows from Lake Nicaragua to the Caribbean coast, and you can enjoy a stay at one of the many beautiful eco lodges that border the river as well.
